WOW! What an amazing gift!!!! I have a vintage dressing table sitting in my garage patiently waiting to be re-purposed into a cake table for my daughter’s wedding (May 3, 2014). There would be more than enough paint for that table and then onto the thrift store for some fun pieces for her new home and the bucket would be really cute filled with flowers at her reception :)

I can see her stripped of her nasty blonde finish, with a lovely dark walnut top and a light box & frame. I may even get rid of the silly huge drawer in the bottom and give her some pretty baskets!

Then there is the monstrous 1970’s rock maple dresser that is patiently waiting it’s turn. As well as the old waterfall dresser, and my cute Queen Anne vanity. I’m sure I’d burn through that paint with no problem!

I would love to paint a set of vintage doll furniture for my antique china dolls. I love that antique 40’s green, sort of jadite but deeper. That was my Mom’s favorite color. Whenever I see a beautiful piece done in that color, I think of her. Then a deep buttery yellow for accent. The dolls are about 22″ and have a mirrored dresser, regular dresser, and a table, chair and wardrobe. The woods don’t all match, so painting them would draw the set together.

I have several pieces of furniture that could benefit from a Sweet Pickins Milk Paint transformation! My ugly sewing machine cabinet is the piece most in need of help, but my most anticipated project is painting the leg portion of a table. From the info you have provided about milk paint, it’s seems like the perfect choice for these.

I just moved into a new house and, since I really can’t afford new furniture,I am refinishing my bedroom furniture I had s a child and an old window frame bought at a garage sale. I am thinking of hanging the window frame in the entryway and adding hooks to it for keys, scarves, etc. I also have two night tables that my grandfather made that I would like to refinish. I am in the middle of deciding which colors to use. Decisions, decisions!

I have a tall Waterfall dresser that belonged to my Grandmother. The wood laminate is peeling in several places and is very unsightly. I would love to use the milk paint to cover the imperfections so it can be useable again. I also have her antique metal bed (with original metal boxspring) and the dresser will be used in the same guest room. I have no plans to repaint the bed. It had a faux wood grain painted on it that is worn in several areas from all her grandchildren running their hand along the footboard when walking past the bed to the bathroom. Too many good memories to erase by painting the bed. It would be a great tribute to my Grandma to place these 2 pieces in the same room.

I have a 1950-1960 armoire. It’s mint green with blonde wood on top and blonde square knobs. I bought it as a bedroom set for our first bed about 15 years ago, from a co-worker. It has cool lines,, ball feet and one side door has a mirror ( just begging for chicken wire)! I’ve put it in my kitchen as a orginazation/ chest/ buffet, lol. It’s just adorable and replaced those industrial garage type metal stands that were so cool about 10 years ago as kitchen open shelving.
I’m disabled as of 3 years ago with 2 terminal rare diseases. They are progressive, but usually in a slow way. So this FIRST project begs to me, but I don’t know how to start. A little scared, I’ve put it off for 2 years now.

ID GIVE ANYTHING for someone to say, do this, then this, then this.

I have bench seating with a round kitchen table. I have had them for years with plans to paint them. Then I see my exact idea and almost the same table on BHG magazine! So now it’s go time!

I have a coffee table I have had for years in my basement. I just turned my garage into a work space since I have been divorced and the garage became and open canvas. I have been anxious to do the coffee table in a shabby chic way. The milk paint in white is my dream. I hope to win the contest. Pamela

Hi – This is so exciting! What I wouldn’t want to paint! First I have a matching set of end tables/coffee tables that look like old trunks in my living room that are so beat up from years of use (children) that I think painting them will actually enhance them and give them charm, instead of them just looking really bad! Also we have plans to finish our basement and I would love to find a really cool hutch, buffet, or dresser to use as the bar and it would need some fab paint! Its all about recycle and reuse!

Hi there. I am SO excited for a chance to win this! I love trying products I’ve not used before. I am very new at this and in a lil over 2 weeks have turned my garage into my own little heaven. I have done a lot in these 2 weeks, including completely stripping down a table and 4 chairs, giving them an updo and much much more. I have read up on these products and I know I would LOVE them. Although I’ve done a lot of projects in a short time, I have one very special piece that I haven’t touched with any kind of anything yet. I have only repaired it. I have been waiting, doing research, practicing and researching some more. It was my Grand mothers jewelry box. She passed away 6 years ago and my Mom was VERY disappointed to find it in the condition she found it in when they emptied her garage. My Mom has many stories, memories and reasons why she wanted this piece but it was a mess and I ended up taking it. 6 years later after recently getting sober and finding my passion, I have pulled this box out, blown off the dust and repaired it. My Mom is 73 years young and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win this and use these products on this jewelry box and give it to my Mom for Christmas!! Pssst…I don’t think she even knows I have it. ;)

Thanks so much for reading me babble.. lol

I would start with a dresser in my sons room that once belonged to my grandfather. It is beautiful, but has seen a lot of love and needs a good facelift!!!

I’m a new blogger and just found my new love for redoing furniture, Decorating, crafts, and everything in-between! I’m a self employed, stay-at-home mother and I have fallen in love with this craft. Being that, I can’t afford to buy all these wonderful paints and brushes to figure out what I love most and see what works best for me. This milky paint looks like a beautiful finish and I would love to win this. I could experiment and see how great it is to determine if THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! haha… But I would redo my antique bedroom furniture set with your product. :)

Everything!! I know that 3 pints won’t go that far – so I’d start with bookcases in my living room (oyster white) or my kitchen/dining table and chairs – (driftwood or pitch black). If you had a ballet slipper pink, I would paint my girls’ dresser with that color. Thanks for the fantastic giveaway!

I would paint my kitchen table – it’s antique, inherited from my grandmother and has taken a lot of abuse from my kiddos. I’ve been dying to paint it white!
